The VossaFoto Photography Awards came to life in 2011, when the local photographer Ellie Ellison found that her dream of creating a Norwegian photography award could be a reality. Involving the community the VossaFoto Photography Awards started up as a simple contest where Norwegian photographers could showcase their work. Now the VossaFoto Photography Awards has grown to a large contest inviting photographers from around the world to enter their work to be judged and showcased in the town of Voss.
All entries to the competition must be submitted before December 12th at 13:00.
The year 2020 is like no other year, and this impacts also the Awards. There will be no live Award show, everything will be digital. This year we invite you to watch all the submitted photographs online, and we encourage you to vote for your favorite. In addition to all the categories being judged by a professional jury, the photograph getting the most online votes, will get a great prize, along side the love and respect from everyone in the digital audience.
